The fizz of the moment is Prosecco and we have 2 to compare, the lightly sparkling Frizzante from Ca Morlin £9.50 which is also found at Jamie’s Italian and a pink fizz made in Prosecco but from the Lagrein grape which is drinking nicely at Martin Lam’s Ransome’s Dock restaurant Bortolotti, £12.50

Do. de Triennes was founded in 1990 by Jacques Seysses of Domaine Dujac along with Aubert de Villaine of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti and their Parisien friend Michel Macaux. The Rosé is a blend of old vine Cinsualt, Syrah, Merlot. Triennes Rose £9.95
Bandol rosés are enchanting. Their roundness and generosity make them different from other rosé wines. Mourvèdre, Grenache and Cinsault combine to give, by direct pressing, a well-built, refined, pale-coloured wine with delicate salmon hues. With all the subtle shades that enhance their colour, they voluptuously express the specificity of their terroir. We are showing the Lafran Veyrolles Bandol Rose @ £14.95
We also have the St Clair Pinot Noir rose from New Zealand to try - an affordable and delicious alternative to rival any Sancerre Rose at £9.95. Staying in the New World to finish, our palate cleanser will be Moscato Rose from Innocent Bystander in Victoria, Australia. A sparkling gem at £5.95 for a half bottle.
